Reward-Penalty Mechanism or Subsidy Mechanism: A Closed-Loop Supply Chain Perspective

چکیده

The government plays a crucial role in regulating the closed-loop supply chain (CLSC). We investigated reward-penalty mechanism (RPM) for manufacturer and subsidy (SM) collector CLSCs. government’s goal is to maximize social welfare. Based on centralized decentralized decision-making models without intervention, we developed two CLSC where rewards or penalizes subsidizes collector. Then, impact of input cost environmental benefit coefficients decision variable, firm’s profit welfare was analyzed. found following conclusions: (i) both RPM SM increase collection rate partners, while price new product decreases if coefficient moderate; (ii) profits retailer under are higher than SM, collector’s lower that SM; (iii) more feasible implement terms rate, buyback These conclusions could provide several managerial implications partners CLSC.
